Star Gazing at Hakuba Goryu
July 13 – Oct 13 (Assorted Dates)
Hakuba Goryu
Stargazing in the Hakuba Valley is awesome to say the least. The twinkling lights of the resort below creates minimal light pollution, and on a clear night, constellations, the Milky Way, and even the occasional meteor are visible in the sky. With some basic photography skills, anyone can take advantage of Hakuba’s geography to create breathtaking, brag-worthy images.
With being so high above sea level and with air that is thinner and dry makes it just perfect for stargazing. However, when the sun does dip behind the mountains, the temperatures can drop. Dress warmly and maybe take a blanket to sit down upon when looking up.
